That's why we've incorporated important safety features into this playhouse to protect the children as they play. Kids love rough battle games, but no one likes it when things end in tears. The walls of this Shire Tower playhouse are constructed using high-quality planed softwood in a sturdy tongue and groove shiplap pattern, making the fort well-sealed from both the elements and invaders! The timber used is continental slow-grown wood, meaning a tighter grain, extra strength and a longer life when compared to the fast-grown timber used on cheaper playhouses from other manufacturers. The floor is also built with tongue and groove boards, and the roof is made from Oriented Strand Board (OSB) with roofing felt included. There is also a good-sized external platform with a slatted barrier to hide behind, and a strong wooden ladder for rapid entrance and exit to the Command Post Tower. Two opening gun ports allow defence of the Command Post Tower Playhouse with water pistols or foam dart guns, while three fixed windows provide observation points to target the enemy from the safety of the fort.
